JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 15-06-2020 The petitioner, who is in custody since 2nd of January, 2020, seeks bail in connection with Natwar P. S. Case No. 1 of 2020 dated 01.01.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 325, 376, 511, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

From the prosecution report, it appears that there is allegation against the petitioner and others of attempting to rape the newly-wed bride for her family members not acceding to the demand of a Bolero Vehicle.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that because of some dispute at the time of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19694 of 2020(2) dt.15-06-2020 2/2 marriage, the present case has been lodged in which all the brothers of the family have been made accused in this case with the weird allegation of attempt to rape. Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Shri Lal Bihari Paswan, the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bikramganj, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Natwar P. S. Case No. 1 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
