Petitioner is languishing in custody in connection with Dalsngsarai P.S. Case No. 276 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dalsingsarai, Samastipur.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after one year of her marriage for non-fulfilment of dowry demand.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor pointed out in the case-diary that neighbour has also supported the allegation of demand of dowry and torture soon before death of the victim. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46335 of 2016 (3) dt.08-12-2016 2/2 to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present. Accordingly, the bail prayer of the petitioner is refused.

However, the petitioner may renew the prayer if the trial is not concluded within a year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Court-below is directed to expedite the trial.
