The immediate object of providing compassionate appointment is long over. Whatever be the circumstances or the dispute which delayed the adjudication on the claim and right of the petitioner, the fact is that the object and purpose of compassionate appointment is not to provide employment to otherwise non-worthy offsprings of a government servant.
