2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 1568 of 2023 dated 14.12.2023 registered for the offences punishable u/s 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have abducted the informant's daughter and killed her by hanging.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is no eyewitness to the alleged occurrence. It is further submitted that the deceased herself committed suicide and

It is further submitted that during the course of the investigation, the house owner, namely, Amarendra Kumar and his wife Savita Devi have allegedly stated that the petitioner was the tenant of their house for one month and on 14.12.2023 in the evening, they found that the petitioner was knocking the door. It is further submitted that after breaking the door they found that the deceased Punam Kumari was hanging with fan and immediately police was informed. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner and stated that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of abducting the informant's daughter and hanged her to death.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the specific and heinous nature of allegation against the petitioner , I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

7. The application stands rejected.
