The petitioner seeks bail in Jokihat (Mahalgoan) P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019, corresponding to Special Case No. 268 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 43,560 litres of foreign liquor and 16 litres of Codein cough syrup kept in carton have been recovered from a tempo. Petitioner is said to be driver of the aforesaid tempo.

Petitioner is in custody since 4.2.2019 having clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let

No.20141 of 2019(2) dt.02-04-2019 2/2 the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Jokihat (Mahalgoan) P.S. Case No. 82 of 2019, corresponding to Special Case No. 268 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
