JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 04-09-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State through Video Conferencing. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 02 of 2020/Special Case No. 04 of 2020 registered for offence punishable under section 7 (a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The police has caught the petitioner with red handed with an amount of Rs.9,000/- which was demanded for doing needful in favour of the complainant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the witness, who has put the signature, is in inimical terms with the petitioner so it is no value in the eyes of law which will be seen at the time of trial.

No.20929 of 2020(4) dt.04-09-2020 2/2 Looking to the fact is that the petitioner has been arrested with red handed with an amount of Rs.9,000/- which was put in chemical water which turned into pink colour, In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, he may renew his prayer for bail after completion of one year of judicial custody.
