The petitioner has filed the present writ application for issuance of appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs for commanding and directing the respondents authorities particularly the respondent authority concerned to grant the arms licence to the petitioner for safety and security of his life, health and property and his family members. The petitioner has filed an application for grant of arms licence on 30.05.2017 but the same is pending till date. Considering the relief sought for, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application giving all the details before Respondent no. 3 (the District Magistrate, Begusarai) within a period of 30 days from today. The Respondent No. 3 shall consider the application of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of filing of such application.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
