This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 324 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner had allegedly assaulted with lathi causing injury at the head of the informant.

Submission of the petitioner is that the doctor has found simple injury and the occurrence took place due to land dispute.

Considering the fact that the petitioner had knowledge that his act might cause death, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.
