ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 30-09-2015 The Petitioner seeks release of the victim Anjani Kumari, recovered in Madhepura P.S. Case No.661 of 2014 who was lodged in Remand Home, Gaighat, Patna.

This Court had summoned the girl in question who is present in Chambers today. She says that she is 19 years of age and married the Petitioner out of her own sweet will. The Superintendent, Remand Home, Gaighat, Patna, has produced the medical report of the girl which is dated 31.1.2015, according to which the opinion of the Doctor is that the girl is 17-18 years of age. As of today, evidently, the girl has become a major.

In view of such, the Superintendent, Remand Home, Gaighat, Patna, is directed to forward the girl within a period of

No.700 of 2015 (3) dt.30-09-2015 2/2 one week from the date of receipt of this order along with a copy of this order, to the Court concerned, which shall record her statement under Section 164 Cr. P.C. and, thereafter, immediately release her on bonds that she would appear on the date when she would be required by the Court concerned.

Let this order be communicated to the Senior Superintendent of police, Patna, at the cost of the State for being forwarded to the local Police Station and, thereafter, to the Superintendent, Remand Home, Gaighat, Patna.
