Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 17 and 18 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
1.600 Kgs. Afim was, allegedly, recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
Petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2016.
The report of the learned court below reveals that the case is at the stage of prosecution evidence. Considering the aforesaid facts, especially, the fact that there is no purpose to detain the petitioner furthermore as under trial prisoner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52441 of 2016 (6) dt.01-05-2017 2/2 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-1st, Gaya/successor Court in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 08 of 2016 arising out of Barachati Police Station Case No. 84 of 2016, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
