Petitioner is accused in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 292 of 2015 registered under Sections 304 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of A.C.J.M., Patna City. Petitioner is husband of the deceased Laxmi Devi. Laxmi Devi died un-natural death within three years of her marriage in her matrimonial house. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody since 12.04.2016 and the allegation is general and omnibus. No external injury was found on the person of the deceased.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43292 of 2016 (3) dt.14-12-2016 2/2 Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State submits that other witnesses have also supported the allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same.

Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner is rejected. However, petitioner may renew prayer for bail after completion of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
