JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-07-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State via video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with C2A Case No.20 of 2020 in which cognizance has been taken under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering recovery of 1109.520 litres Indian made foreign liquor from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him bail even though he is in custody since 03.02.2020. The application is rejected.

In case his trial is not concluded within seven months from today, he would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) kanchan/- U T
