The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Piyar P.S. Case No. 63 of 2019 registered under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant herself left her matrimonial home in the year 2018 for which the petitioner has filed Matrimonial Case No. 500 of 2018 on 29.11.2018 under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act. The informant did not return to her matrimonial home, rather she filed a criminal case and also Maintenance Case No. 83 of 2019.

No.19806 of 2020(2) dt.03-07-2020 2/2 Be that as it may, taking into consideration the nature of offence, accusation made against the petitioner, the defence taken by him and the fact that he is in custody since 15.02.2020, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Muzaffarpur in connection with Piar P.S. Case No. 63 of 2019.
