Lal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Gulnar Begum, learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case No. 595 of 2019, dated 15.12.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act.

It appears from the F.I.R. that a firearm weapon was recovered from one Md. Faizan Mustafa, who has confessed before the police that he had purchased the aforesaid firearm from the petitioner.

Mr. Lal, learned Advocate, has submitted that except for the aforesaid confession of an arrested accused

It has further been submitted that earlier he was made accused in two other cases but in those cases also, the name of the petitioner surfaced during the course of investigation on confession of arrested co-accused persons and in both the cases, he is on bail.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 04.01.2020.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above-named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case No. 595 of 2019.

The application stands allowed.
