The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Khagaria (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 484 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 30.5.2022 by the informant, Vaisakhi Devi. As per the prosecution story, the allegation against the petitioner is of killing of his wife and the minor son witnessed the entire occurrence.

On the last occasion, case diary was called for by a coordinate bench of this Court and the learned APP Mr. Jitendra Kumar Singh has drawn attention of para-6 of the case diary in which the statement of 10 years minor boy has been recorded and he has fully supported the prosecution story.
