The grievance of the petitioner is that confiscation proceeding has been initiated and show cause notice has been received by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that reply to the show cause has already been filed as also application has been filed for interim release of the vehicle. However, the same has not been decided as yet.

The writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5974 of 2022(2) dt.09-09-2022 2/2 Competent Authority to take a decision on the application of the petitioner for interim release of the vehicle at the earliest, in any case, not later than two weeks.
