Petitioner, Sanoj Paswan, is in custody since 27.06.2016 in Excise Case No. 206C-3 of 2016 registered under Section 47(a) of the Excise Act.

According to prosecution case, from the possession of the petitioner, 20 liters of Tadi (toddy) have been recovered. 4.

Considering the nature of allegation and the period of detention of the petitioner, I direct the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 5,000/- (Five Thousand rupees only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Excise Case No. 206C-3 of 2016.
