Dr. Ajeet Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 18-08-2020 Heard Mr. Hemant Kumar Karan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Dr. Ajeet Kumar, learned counsel for the State through Video Conferencing.

In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 796 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25 (1-B)a/26/27 of the Arms Act. Allegation has been made that some miscreants have committed robbery and murder. The accused persons have been identified on account of their photographs recorded in the CCTV footage. The son of the petitioner, Abhishek has made a statement before the police that on the instigation of his father, he used to commit theft and robbery and he has also stated that his father, the present petitioner used to share the booty looted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19822 of 2020(3) dt.18-08-2020 2/2 by him. He was intercepted and arrested while committing the offence in another case.

Looking to the entirety of the fact, for the present this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected.
