JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 07-12-2018 The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Laukaha (Lalmaniya) P.S. Case No. 14/18, registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 498(A), 324, 336, 307, 34 and 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioners happen to be father in law, mother in law, and brother in law of the deceased and the allegation against them is of causing dowry death of the deceased. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have falsely been implicated in this case and it is the petitioners, who have done the treatment of the deceased and in fact she caught fire while cooking food and received burn injuries and succumbed to her injuries. Further, they are in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71825 of 2018(2) dt.07-12-2018 2/2 custody since 27.08.2018.

Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the deceased herself is informant in this case and she has named these petitioners and stated that they confined her inside the house and sprinkled kerosene oil on her and petitioner no. 2, who is mother in law, set her on fire and as such, there is direct allegation against the petitioners.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
