The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition of Liquor and Excise Act, 2016.

Petitioner was traveling in the vehicle which was carrying the consignment from Ranchi to Deoghar via Jamui where it was intercepted and liquor was noticed. Submission is that the consignment was valid one. The liquor was not to be unloaded in the State of Bihar where there is ban nor there is allegation of same being unloaded in any part of the State of Bihar.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20815 of 2019(3) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Chandramandi P.S. Case No. 93 of 2018 with following conditions : (a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation / trial of the case, failing which the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (Birendra Kumar, J) sanjeev/- U T
