Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The present pro bono petition has been filed by an advocate of Ara Civil Court, challenging the advertisement of

Patna High Court CWJC No.6171 of 2020(2) dt.09-06-2020 2/3 appointment of various teaching and non-teaching posts in Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara. The prayer as stipulated in paragraph 1 of the writ application, reads as under: "The Petitioner who is an enlightened and responsible Citizen of this Country is a practising advocate by profession at District Court, Ara, Bihar. The petitioner while reading the newspaper named "Prabhat Khabar", dated 21.05.2020, came across the advertisement was regarding vacancy of Assistant Professors in the courses of M.B.A. and B.Ed. and also, for various other posts i.e. Conputer operator, lab-assistant, etc.

That while going through the said advertisement, the Petitioner came to know that the qualifications required for an Assistant Professor in the aforementioned courses are different from the criteria as prescribed by the University Grants Commissions (Respondent No.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6171 of 2020(2) dt.09-06-2020 3/3 - (degree) regulation, 2019 and NCTE Regulations, 2014, amended as on date. Moreover, with respect to M.B.A., the no. of posts advertised is more than the sanctioned posts which is not permissible." Learned counsel for the petitioner, after some arguments, seeks permission to withdraw this application with a liberty to challenge the said advertisement through some persons whose rights have been violated.

Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh, learned counsel for respondent no. 9 and Mr. Ashutosh Ranjan Pandey, learned AAG-15 have no objection to such prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner.

This pro bono petition is disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
