2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No.232 of 2023, lodged on 17.07.2023, giving rise to S.T. No.633 of 2023, under Sections 376/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 31.01.2024 with liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of the charge.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that charge has been framed in this case on 07.11.2023.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Learned counsel for the informant also opposes the prayer for bail.

7. Upon the specific query of the Court that whether evidence of the victim has been recorded or not. Counsel for the petitioner submits that as per his knowledge evidence of the victim has not been recorded as yet.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner, above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-Icum-Special Judge (SC/ST Act), Katihar, in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 232 of 2023, giving rise to S.T. No.633 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 437(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
