Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that the petitioner and others demanded ransom from the informant to allow him to run the medical clinic.

Submission of the petitioner is that Plot No. 2781 and 2784 on which the aforesaid clinic is running is subject matter of the dispute in Title Suit No. 164 of 2014 brought by the petitioner against Mira Devi and others and just to pressurize in the civil dispute the present false case has been lodged. The petitioner has also lodged a complaint case bearing Complaint

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53250 of 2016 (3) dt.16-01-2017 2/2 Case No. 2466 of 2015 against the informant and others for offences under Sections 341, 452, 323, 307, 379, 384, 295(A), 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail on the ground of criminal antecedent of the petitioner.

Considering the background and nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari/Successor Court in connection with Motihari Town P.S.
