The petitioner, who is in custody since 17.02.2020, seeks bail in connection with Mithanpura P.S. Case No. 223 of 2017 dated 22.07.2017 instituted for the offence unders Sections 290, 420, 379, 120(B), 34, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and 66 of the I.T. Act.

It appears from the prosecution report that on secret information, a raid was conducted at a place from where four persons were arrested. From their confession, the name of the petitioner has transpired. Mr. Chaudhary has informed this Court that

There is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner and in the earlier cases in which the petitioner was made accused, he is on bail.

Considering the aforenoted facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Spl. Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Mithanpura P.S. Case No. 223 of 2017. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
