The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 47(a) of the Excise Act.

15.600 litres country made liquor were recovered from a motorcycle. Subsequently it was found that the motorcycle was found registered in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner claimed to have sold the motorcycle to one Ramlakhan Sah in 2009.

Considering the nature of accusation and the quantity of recovery, it is a case for consideration of prayer

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41032 of 2015 (2) dt.06-10-2015 2/2 for regular bail, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 393 of 2012 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran. It is expected from the learned court below to dispose of the bail application of the petitioner preferably on the same day.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
