JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 21-02-2018 Heard counsel for the petitioner and the respondent Bank. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the various unauthorized debit and credit entrees were made by the petitioner under the pressure of his job. He submits that the same was not done for his personal gain and that the same was done so as to compensate the deficiencies in respect of some other accounting transactions for which complain could have been made to the Bank. By making such submission it is prayed that the petitioner may be permitted to approach the authorities to persuade them to take lenient view with
Patna High Court CWJC No.15306 of 2015 dt.21-02-2018 respect to the quantum of punishment. He submits that the punishment of dismissal from service by order dated 09.08.2014 is excessive. In view of the limited prayer this court would observe that if the petitioner approaches the authorities it would be open to the respondents Bank to take a decision in the matter as they deem fit, and in accordance with law.
