Petitioner is accused in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 246 of 2016 registered under Sections 302, 201 and 379/34 of the I.P.C.

The F.I.R. was lodged against unknown on receipt of dead body of the husband of the informant. During investigation, co-accused Ajay Mehta was arrested and in his confessional statement, name of the petitioner transpired. Ajay Mehta has not stated in his confessional statement that the petitioner has murdered, rather three different persons are the real murderer. Considering that there is no substantial material against the petitioner, let the above named petitioner be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42264 of 2016 (3) dt.14-12-2016 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the C.J.M., Araria in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 246 of 2016.
