JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For quashing the order as contained in Memo No. 5101 dated 07.11.2023 issued under the signature of respondent No. 3 whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been terminated from his service who was posted on the post of Panchayat Rojgar Sewak on the basis of contract.

(ii) Also for directing the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service and grant all consequential benefit thereto."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the service

Patna High Court CWJC No.5245 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 appeal filed by the petitioner bearing Service Appeal No. 28 of 2023, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law.

The learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case the aforesaid service appeal is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off within a stipulated time frame. 4.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the aforesaid service appeal filed by the petitioner, in case the same is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 5.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
