The petitioner being the husband of the victim is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant within one year of the marriage for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim was suffering from chest pain and she was provided medical treatment, but she could not survive. The accusation is not specific against the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41050 of 2015 (2) dt.06-10-2015 2/2 Considering the fact that the petitioner is husband of the victim and the victim died within one year of marriage, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Kateya P.S. Case No. 258 of 2014 pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Gopalganj. With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
