2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Aurai P.S. Case No. 291 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 379, 504 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with others is accused of assaulting the informant and his family members.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is 80 years old man and is in custody since 10.11.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23978 of 2025(2) dt.30-04-2025 2/2 for bail.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a 80 years old man and also considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur (East)/concerned Court below in connection with Aurai P.S. Case No. 291 of 2023.
