Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 359 of 2019 for the offence under sections 341, 323, 498(A), 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity. There is reluctance on the part of opposite party no.2.
Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25886 of 2020(2) dt.14-10-2020 2/2 above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Katihar, in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 359 of 2019 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. On release of the petitioner, the court below may refer the matter before Mediation Centre for amicable settlement of the dispute between the petitioner and the wife.
