2. Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the appellant, whereas Mr. Ajay Mishra, learned, Additional Public Prosecutor for the State is present.

3. Perusal of record shows that vide letter dated 18.07.2025 of Assistant Registrar, Criminal Appeal Section of this Court, a living status report of accused appellant was called for. In response thereto, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Aurangabad submitted a report dated 02.08.2025 based on the

Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.24 of 1999(4) dt.18-12-2025 2/2 information furnished by Station House Officer, Tandwa Police Station, Aurangabad apprising this Court that the sole appellant namely, Jagar Nath Tiwary has died on 15.01.2025 during pendency of this Criminal Appeal.

4. In view of the above, the instant Criminal Appeal filed by appellant namely- Jagar Nath Tiwary stands abated.
