The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No. 190 of 2018, registered under Sections 366, 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of making attempt of kidnapping of daughter of the informant by eight persons and some unknown for the purpose of marriage.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, mere on suspicion the informant managed to implicate the petitioner by showing the name of petitioner in the statement of victim as recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C.
