1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly submits that the charges against the petitioner have been framed and the trial has commenced, but till date not a single witness has been examined.

3. Since the trial has commenced, as such, the Court is not inclined to entertain the quashing application.

4. Accordingly, the present quashing application stands rejected.

5. The Court expects that the trial shall be concluded expeditiously and within a time frame, as prolonged trial causes mental agony to the accused persons.
