This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 366A and 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he committed rape against victim, Shruti Kumari, along with co-accused, Gautam Kumar.

Submission of the petitioner is that the allegation is based on complaint petition, which was subsequently registered as police case and the parties have entered into a compromise.

Considering the seriousness of the allegation and the fact that the investigation is going on, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.
