The petitioner seeks bail in Town P.S. Case No.466 of 2015 instituted for the offences under Sections 363, 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, the victim is hardly 14 years of age as has been assessed by the Magistrate including the girl in her statement has stated that she is aged about 16 years. Even in the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, she has narrated that in what manner she was carried and she was entered into marriage. Abduction of a minor girl is a serious offence.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39491 of 2016 (3) dt.22-09-2016 2/2 Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
