2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sessions Trial No. 382 of 2024 arising out of Vishnupad P.S Case No. 57 of 2020 from the Court of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-XVII, Gaya registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307 of I.P.C with Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier prayer for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 12.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 15382 of 2024 with following observation:
"Trial Court is directed to conclude the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21267 of 2025(3) dt.09-05-2025 2/2 trial within one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
4. From perusal of the stage of trial report sent by the District Additional & Sessions Judge-XVII, Gaya vide Letter No. 139 of 2025, it appears that trial is at the stage of evidence and trial is likely to be concluded within a period of three months.
5. There is no new ground for considering his prayer for grant of regular bail.
6. Accordingly, the prayer for the petitioner is again rejected with the aforesaid observation.
