The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bihta P.S. Case No.1043 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police raided the bank of river on the information that the petitioner and others were selling liquor. The petitioner managed to flee away but one Nand Kishore Rai was apprehended. Nand Kishore Rai disclosed the names of petitioner and others, who managed to flee away. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner but from perusal of para 3 of the bail petition, it appears that the petitioner is accused in four cases registered under different sections of the Excise Act.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24175 of 2019(2) dt.15-04-2019 2/2 Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
