2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Laheriya Sarai P.S. Case No. 401 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2) of the BNS, 2023.

3. According to FIR, unknown thieves stole away the vehicle of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has further submitted that he is not involved in any other case of a similar nature. The petitioner is under custody since 19.11.2024.

5. The impugned order shows that the petitioner was arrested in another case, Gopalganj Excise P.S. Case No. 716 of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24174 of 2025(3) dt.06-08-2025 2/2 2024, in which the stolen vehicle loaded with 207.360 liters of liquor was recovered and it was found that the said vehicle was used for carrying illicit liquor after changing its number plate. The petitioner is involved in as many as six cases under the Excise Act.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, presently I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly, the same is rejected.

7. However, the petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after six months from today. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) Nirmal/- U T
