The petitioner, who is in custody since 07.03.2020 and is a person of clean antecedents, seeks bail in connection with Vishambharpur P. S. Case No. 30 of 2020 dated 06.03.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 30 (a), 37 (b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

The allegation is of recovery of 81 litres of country made liquor from the motor-cycle of the petitioner. It has been submitted that the petitioner has been

Regard being had to the period of custody and the clean antecedents of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge - II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Vishambharpur P. S. Case No. 30 of 2020. The petition stands allowed.
