2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per prosecution case, 54.845 liters illicit liquor was recovered from the bush. Co-accused Bhola Kumar was apprehended on the spot who disclosed the name of the petitioner that he fled away from the place of occurrence.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to village politics. Further submission is that petitioner has no concern with the seized liquor. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious

Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent in which he is on bail. Petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the investigation and trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-V-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Biharsharif, Nalanda in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No. 61 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sunil Dutta Mishra, J) utkarsh/- U T
