1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.That the petitioner is filing this application for issuance of writ, order or direction:

a) To direct the respondent District Registrar to dispose of Registration Appeal No. 09 of 2009 within time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

b) To direct the Respondent State Government to appoint any public officer as it thinks proper to be Registrar of Begusarai District as provided under section 6 of the Registration Act, 1908 hereinafter referred to Act as the Respondent District Registrar

Patna High Court CWJC No.5008 of 2023(2) dt.10-10-2023 2/2 burdened with several other district and is unable to hear the appeal filed by the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, so that the appeal pending before the District Registrar may be heard and disposed of within a reasonable time."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a simple direction upon the District Registrar, Begusarai to dispose off the appeal filed by the petitioner bearing Registration Appeal No.09 of 2009, within a stipulated time frame.

3. Having regard to the limited prayed made by the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Registrar, Begusarai to dispose off the aforesaid Registration Appeal No.09 of 2009, filed by the petitioner, if the same has not already stood disposed off, within a period of four weeks from today, failing which he shall not draw his salary.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
