Three petitioners who are in custody since 26.5.2016 in Rajauli P.S. Case No. 112 of 2016 registered for the offence under section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment )Act 2016 have prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners were passenger in a bus and from beneath the seat where petitioners were sitting, recovery of about 35 liters of foreign liquor was shown and petitioners were apprehended.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34583 of 2016 (2) dt.20-08-2016 2/2 Keeping in view the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the aforesaid three petitioners Amit Kumar, Bittu Kumar @ Bittu Kumar Yadav and Chandan Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand ) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada / concerned court in connection with Rajauli P.S.
