====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 29-03-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

The petitioners seek bail in Excise Case No. 297 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It is alleged in the written report that 1301.400 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from truck hidden in special chamber. It is further alleged that petitioner has been arrested on spot along with driver and Khalasi of the aforesaid truck. The owner of the truck managed to run away. Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of liquor from the truck and petitioners having been arrested on the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19190 of 2019(2) dt.29-03-2019 2/2 spot, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

Prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail stands rejected.

Petitioners are given liberty to renew their prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantive progress is made in the trial.
