====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 26-06-2020 Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner, who is in custody since 05.03.2020, seeks bail in connection with Pakribarawa (Dhamaul O.P.) Police State Case No. 30 of 2020 dated 07.02.2020 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears that the accusation against the petitioner is of throwing away 67.5 litres of liquor and making good his escape.

It has further been contended on his behalf that he was earlier made accused in this case on the basis of confession of a co-accused and in that case he is on bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19895 of 2020(2) dt.26-06-2020 2/2 Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Nawada in connection with Pakribarawa (Dhamaul O.P.) Police State Case No. 30 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
