2. Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties.

Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already made an application (Annexure-13) seeking renewal of the electricity contract license to the District Magistrate (Respondent No. 3) i.e., Chairman of the Licensing Board, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, the respondent No. 3 herein is directed to consider the said application as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
