JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 12-04-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Kazi Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 172 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections-272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) 56(E) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

There is specific allegation in the written report that total 569 litres of illicit country-made liquor were recovered kept in garage of newly built house of this petitioner. The petitioner along with his wife Shanti Devi managed to escape. In such circumstances, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
