In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Kathaiya P.S. Case No. 26 of 2020 registered for offences under sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per prosecution case, the police has recovered 1392.480 liter foreign liquor from the thatched house of the petitioner.

The petitioner is in judicial custody since 6.3.2020. Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19899 of 2020(2) dt.29-06-2020 2/2 present.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected with a liberty to move before this Court for bail after completion of six months of his judicial custody.
