This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Madhepur P.S. Case No.218 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 393 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

As per the F.I.R. on 14.10.2022, the petitioner was caught by the informant, who is A.S.I. of Madhepur Police Station and upon search, one cartridge and a pistol were recovered.

Since the petitioner is accused in six more serious cases, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected. 5.

The District Judge, Madhubani, is directed to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22403 of 2023(3) dt.02-08-2023 2/2 expedite the trial of all the criminal cases pending against the petitioner.
