Lastly, the bail petition of petitioner was rejected, vide order dated 09.03.2022 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 72516 of 2021. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that similarly situated co-accused Bishwajeet Singh @ Vishwajit Kumar Singh, who is also alleged to have fired upon the deceased, has already been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 24.01.2023 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 60975/2022. Petitioner is in custody since 06.08.2020.

Considering the period of custody and the fact that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail, the prayer for bail of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC.
